In your mind, God is trying to bring your kingdom down and bring His kingdom up with resurrection power. When you are born again you make a conscious choice to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior over your entire being, mind body and soul. You are to renew your mind and put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created you.
To renew means to exchange ~ exchange your mind for the mind of Christ. You can give birth to anything in your mind, as whatever you constantly think on will come to pass. You will think and react in the flesh and limit yourself, without your mind renewed by the Word of God. If you allow yourself to be ruled by your flesh, you will be a puppet in the devil’s hand. Don’t allow any situation to dominate you. You were made to rule and have dominion! As a child of God, you have the mind of Christ, therefore you have the ability to put your flesh under subjection daily. For which cause you faint not, though your outward man perish, the inward man is renewed day by day.
Don’t allow yourself to worry, as it only breaks down your immune system, feelings of security, self-confidence and peace. Be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, for you! Do guard your heart, what you hear and what you say. Out of the heart flows the issues of life, and you can be influenced by what you hear and say. Bring every thought under subjection and in line with the Word of God ~ you do have a choice. Rethink your thinking!!
