For this is the day that the Lord has made ~ I shall rejoice and be glad in it! Psalms 118:24
The dawning of a new day presents us with an open window of opportunity. Don’t end up on the dark side of a brand new day. A day representative of shattered dreams and broken promises and filled with shoulda, woulda, coulda. Every day is a new day to try again, to believe again, to hope again, to live again, to love again, to laugh again, to pursue the life God has dreamed for us. Today can be different if we only believe. God places desires and dreams within us, but it us up to us to walk it out step by step in faith. The race is not given to the swift, but to those who endure until the end. Persevere in prayer and action with a heart of humility, patience and expectation. His word will not return void, but it shall come to pass.
God provides daily bread (manna) to meet every need at the time of need. As the old adage goes, He is an on time God!He won’t provide what we need tomorrow, today. Matthew 6: 31-34 reads…”but seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
The fact is when the stone was rolled away from Jesus’s grave, a new day dawned! He died that we may live a life of love, because He loved us first. “…Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
